OUR PROJECTS

A selection of masonry, stonework and landscape projects completed by Steve Myall Masonry Inc. over the years.

CUSTOM NATURAL STONE ENTRANCE

This project features carefully built natural stone walls and entrance pillars, creating a distinctive and welcoming approach to the property.

Each stone was selected and placed with attention to detail to complement the surrounding landscape and create a strong, lasting finish.

From custom stonework to complete masonry projects, Steve Myall Masonry provides experienced craftsmanship throughout Aurora and the surrounding GTA.

Dragonfly Ridge – King Township

Dragonfly Ridge was a remarkable undertaking for me and the team. Working closely with the client and architect throughout the project resulted in an exceptional outcome.

Every piece of stone was carefully hand-chipped and refaced to reveal its natural beauty and unique character, creating a truly custom finish.

On a personal level, building strong relationships with both the client and architect made this project especially rewarding and contributed to its overall success.

Staircase Renovation – Markham

This front entrance was transformed with a new staircase and retaining wall, designed to provide ample space for family and guests while creating a comfortable and inviting approach to the home.

The gentle rise and extended treads offer a smooth, comfortable walk-up, while the overall design brings together functionality, craftsmanship, and timeless style.

Pool Landscape Rejuvenation – Ravenshoe, Simcoe County

A perfectly sized family pool, ideally situated on the property and enjoying full sun, provided the owners and their grandchildren with a wonderful space to enjoy together. Unfortunately, the surrounding area was not as functional or user-friendly and was in need of rejuvenation.

The client wanted a hardscaped area that would allow the grandchildren to play safely in and around the pool, while also providing a comfortable, shaded space where the adults could relax and supervise.

We recommended tumbled pavers laid in a random pattern, featuring a non-slip finish for added safety and providing convenient access around the pool. We then suggested a rustic wall and coping system to define and enclose the area, while creating a beautiful contrast with the pool's bright blue colour and complementing the style of the home.

To complete the project, we added an area for a proposed pergola, providing the adults with a shaded space for outdoor dining while maintaining a clear view of the pool.

“If there is any one secret of success, it lies in the ability to get the other person’s point of view and see things from that person’s angle as well as your from your own”
